Preventive Maintenance
This Preventive Maintenance (PM) module manages all preventive maintenance tasks and schedules for all equipment and assets within an organization and unplanned repairs.
Additional options include the management of PM inventory and equipment spare parts, the creation and management of purchase orders for the procurement of PM inventory and spare parts, and the creation and management of service orders for third-party repair and PM services.
An effective preventive maintenance program aims to reduce the risk of equipment failure due to lack of periodic maintenance, eliminate the unplanned downtime and production disruption associated with ‘run-to-failure,’ and reduce equipment repair or replacement costs.
Asset and Equipment Type Definition
The FEATURES of the Asset and Equipment Type Definition section provide for:
Adding an unlimited number of asset or equipment types that can be used to categorize information,
Adding a link to a document of a specific equipment type,
And defining the fields and field data type for Data Logging / Equipment Status logging in cases when regular reporting of equipment conditions is needed.
Asset and Equipment Information
The FEATURES of the Asset and Equipment Information section provide for:
Adding an unlimited number of assets and equipment,
Identifying the asset and equipment using standard information such as Name, Model No, Serial No, Make, Year, Location, and Warranty Period,
Adding a picture of the asset or equipment,
Linking unlimited files to the asset and equipment record such as User Guides, User Manuals, Manufacturers Recommended Preventive Maintenance schedules, Packing Lists, and Warranty Information,
Identifying data log type to use when data logging or regular equipment reporting is necessary,
Identifying if an hour meter exists,
And creating a spare parts list when the Work Order option is used.
Asset and Equipment Preventive Maintenance Requirements
The FEATURES of the Asset and Equipment Preventive Maintenance Requirements provide for:
Adding an unlimited number of PM requirements to each asset and equipment,
Defining the PM frequency of each requirement, who is responsible for the PM, and the number of days before the PM Due Date the requirement will start to appear on the automated reports,
identifying the PM requirement using a step-by-step instruction and linking to an existing procedure, checklists, or any other file related to how to complete the maintenance requirement,
And adding a requirement to complete an entry within the data log on a set frequency basis.
Asset and Equipment Preventive Maintenance Completion
The FEATURES of the Asset and Equipment Preventive Maintenance Completion and History section provide for:
Recording who performed the maintenance, when it was completed, how long the maintenance took to complete, automatically setting the next due date to the frequency set by the maintenance requirement,
Add notes and link files to the maintenance record, such as completed checklists, PM certifications from a 3rd Party, purchase orders, packing lists of material used, or any items that would be useful for historical purposes.
Recording of Unplanned Maintenance
The FEATURES of the Recording of Unplanned Maintenance section provide for:
Entering a request for repair for a specific piece of equipment and the repair issue,
Sending an automated email to user-defined personnel about the new repair request,
Recording unplanned downtime,
And recording the completion of the repair, notes regarding the repair performed, material used, and time to complete the repair.
Preventive Maintenance History
The FEATURES of the Preventive Maintenance History section provide for:
Reviewing all planned maintenance performed on an asset and equipment,
Reviewing all unplanned maintenance performed on an asset and equipment,
And reviewing the material used and maintenance labor times for planned and unplanned maintenance.
Preventive Maintenance Scheduling
The FEATURE for viewing the Planned Preventive Maintenance schedule is provided with a Calendar view:
All planned preventive maintenance tasks have a due date.
The calendar is used to view all upcoming planned preventive maintenance tasks by day.
The calendar view can be changed by month and year.
A single click on any day will provide the Preventive Maintenance Task Details of Each Equipment and Task scheduled for that day.

Managing a list of suppliers in support of the maintenance program,
Managing Purchase Orders for Inventory, including spare and replacement parts, in support of the maintenance program,
Entering inventory and spare parts used to automatically decrement inventory and record labor times to complete work orders,
And identifying the total costs of the preventive maintenance program.
Service Order Option

Managing Service Orders to third-party suppliers for repair or maintenance services of assets and equipment.
