An effective method of communication within an organization is to display a note, reminder, observation, or details to the user at specific times and key areas within SimpleManufacturing™.
With SimpleManufacturing™, this communication is Timely and Unavoidable Notes within in Manufacturing Process is not only a Good Idea, it is
essential in a fast-paced, complex environment
A note can be entered with formatting capabilities to draw attention to key words or phrases through the use of font color, bolding, FONT SIZE, underline, etc.
The note’s condition of displaying can be any combination of Customers, Part Numbers, Sales Order Numbers, Work Order Numbers, Invoice Number, Quote Numbers, Suppliers, and Specifications.
The areas within SimpleManufacturing™ where this note will be displayed must also be identified. Common scenarios include viewing a specific Sales Order, Work Order, Invoice, Inventory, Item / Part, Customer, Supplier, and Purchase Order.
All Notes that match the condition and area will appear in the Note Summary window. This window will display in front of all other windows to ensure it is seen by the user. The user must close the Note Summary window before the data of interest is shown.
